Arnon Shimoni is a marketing and product leader with a focus on monetization for AI. He previously co-founded Paid.ai, and built the AI monetization category specifically for AI Agents.
Previously Arnon was a Group Product Manager Storytel (Direct to consumer audiobook streaming), leading the Monetization domain where he created monetization/billing/payment infrastructure for 2.1 million customers.
Before that, as a Group Product Manager at Pleo (B2B business expense solution in FinTech), Arnon built billing, planned pricing model innovation, and created internal tooling for customer support and GTM tooling.
Arnon is widely regarded as one of the top voices on billing systems. As such, he has written the foundational work on entitlements and how it should be separated from billing concepts, which has inspired many other billing systems including Stripe’s work on entitlements. This has later led to co-founding Paid.ai and creating the category for AI monetization.
Arnon’s past experience includes expertise in designing and building a highly parallelized relational database management systems with Haskell and Cuda, as well as enterprise data analytics, and communication systems.
